Arijit Singh was back in Kolkata with a stupendous performance with his One Night Only Tour 2023 curated by Paytm Insider and Hyperlink with local partner What’s in d Name, on February 18 at Aquatica. The concert arena was packed with more than 10,000 people who had gathered from places near and far to witness the magical night.

The versatile singer started the show with Tum hi ho, and the audience just broke into applause, as he continued to perform his hit numbers, like Raabta, Khairiyat, Apna bana le, and many more. Singer Antara Mitra also joined Arijit Singh on stage and gave the audience a melodious surprise as they sang their duet Gerua. As the night grew young, the singer kept giving the fans one hit after another, which included classic songs as his tribute to Lata Mangeshkar, Manna Dey and Kishore Kumar. The high point of the show was when Arijit Sing came down from the stage and handed over the mic to Rupam Islam, the lead singer of the Bengali rock band Fossils, to join him in singing Ekla ghor, which made the crowd go crazy.

As all good things come to an end, Arijit ended the musical night with a few of his other hits, like Channa mereya, Deva deva, and bid goodbye to the audience. Here are some moods and moments from the mesmerising performance.

What’s in d Name, the popular hangout spot on Park Street, was the local supporting partner of the event. Rajdeep Chakraborty (left) and Anshuman Singh, directors of What’s in d Name, said: “What’s in d Name was the local supporting partner of this successful and grand musical event. It was a tedious and challenging process to make the event a triumph. But when the arena was completely filled with 10,000 and more people, all those challenges just swept away. It was a magical night and witnessing Arijit Singh live, was more like a dream, for us and for the audience. It was a pleasure hosting Arijit Singh’s One Night Only Tour.”
