Speaking to My Kolkata before his performance, Anupam said, “This is going to be a long concert. There are so many songs I’ve created over the last 14 years but rarely get the opportunity to perform. This is where I’ll be singing those songs. I look forward to singing songs that are close to my heart. I am looking forward to an evening filled with music and lights to entertain my fans in Kolkata. This evening, I plan to jam with a variety of instruments to create a unique soundscape for the audience.”

With Tumio Hete Dekho Kolkata, Anupam drew listeners into his world, singing about Kolkata’s streets and soul. Fans could feel the nostalgia and love for their city in every line, with many smiling as they sang along with him.

This was followed by another hit, Beche Thakar Gaan — Anupam’s version from the album Durbine Chokh Rakhbo Na — a track that has always inspired fans with its powerful message. The song’s lyrics about resilience and the will to live struck a chord with the audience, with many raising their phones and waving them in sync, creating a sea of lights. The energy continued to build as he performed Bosonto Ese Geche, a song that had fans grooving and singing along. It was one of the liveliest moments of the evening, with Anupam’s energy resonating throughout the crowd.

Finally, Anupam performed Tumi Jake Bhalobasho, one of the crowd favourites, bringing an emotional and heartfelt close to the concert. Fans appeared entranced, reliving memories tied to the song, with many visibly moved as they joined him in singing every line.
