The essays in this anthology, according to Sumantra Bose, are the result of Krishna Bose’s exhaustive and seminal research on Netaji’s life. He hopes that the English translation would make the essays accessible to a wider audience, especially the youth who continue to be inspired by the great freedom fighter’s life and politics
