The Kolkata Amateur 2024, the eighth leg of the IGU Eastern India Amateur Feeder Tour, took place at Tollygunge Club between June 12 and 13. Anshul Mishra was victorious, playing three under par across both days of play.
Gurmehr Bindra (145) secured second position in the Amateur category. Abhishek Mitra finished first in the Mid-Amateur, playing eight over par, and was followed by J.P. Singh in second place with a scoreline of 158. In the Ladies’ category, Anahaat Bindra was victorious with a score of 152. B.V. Srihari Rao (179) and Dhananjoy Bose (183) secured the first and the second place, respectively, in the Senior category.
In the Super Senior Category, Pradip Das emerged victorious followed by Captain Rana Chatterjee as the runner-up. G. Suresh Sharma and Sumit Banerjee came first and second, respectively, in the NETT Category.

In the WAGR Round, Anshul Mishra shot a splendid score of 203 playing seven under par across three days of play. Gurmehr Bindra scored six over par to claim second place. It was a close contest for the second place between Gurmehr Bindra and Rudraksha Banerjee went down to the last hole, where Bindra emerged victorious by playing two strokes less than Banerjee. H.S. Bindra, vice-captain of Tollygunge Club, gave away the prizes.
