The Raas Garba will also have various competitions and prizes for the participants, including being selected as King and Queen. So get dressed, wear your dancing shoes and hit the floor for an unforgettable night. The event will also see a blood donation camp.
Organiser speak: “Raas Garba has gained a lot of fame over the last century. It has earned a place in the hearts of millions and so one can see that not only Gujaratis but people from other communities also take part in this celebration. Men and women get dressed in traditional Gujarati dresses to dance to the beats of Garba songs. Competitions for various age groups and lots of prizes will keep the spirits high. Also, since not many blood donation camps are held during the festive period, we decided to organise one to contribute to a good cause,” said Gaurav Chokhany, entertainment chairman of the club.
