“Often the best results are achieved when our thoughts, words and actions are in alignment with the universe and we feel a strong sense of positivity and synchronicity. This holds true even in the sphere of art. Inner truths, feelings, thoughts and instincts harmonize on the medium the artist is using for visual expression. This self-expression creates the most distinct artworks unique to every artist and that very uniqueness and diversity is what we wish to showcase. Over the years, since its inception in 1989, the gallery has received immense support, encouragement and love from its artists and art connoisseurs alike. Genesis continues with its tradition of discovering new artistic talents, promoting emerging artists and exhibiting works of established artists. For us, there can be many ways of looking at art, both as art for art’s sake and art as a social statement or art that takes a stand in the interest of humanity,” said Isha Patodia, curator of the event and director at Genesis Art Gallery.
