The Kolkata Classic, the ninth leg of the 2023 Indian Golf Union (IGU) East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour, concluded with great success. The event took place at FWEPTA (Fort William) between July 22 and 23, featuring 14 top amateurs in three categories: Amateurs, Mid-Amateurs and Super Seniors.
Ahaan Gupta from Kolkata emerged victorious in the Amateur category, securing the title with a score of seven over par 151 (77 and 74). Abhishek Mitra (155) claimed the second position in the Amateur category but secured the top spot in the Mid-Amateur category. Meanwhile, Amit Kumar Saraogi (172) came second in the Mid-Amateur category.

In the Super Senior category, BV Shrihari Rao from Andhra Pradesh claimed the championship with a score of 162. SV Prasad secured the second position in this category.
The tour's education partner was The Champ for Life Academy, the outdoor media partner was Balaji Ads and the online proshop partner was Golfedge. Keventer, eastern India's largest FMCG company, had sponsored giveaways for all the participants. The event was managed by Protouch Sports.
