Nothing makes summer more fun than a refreshing dip in the pool and Calcutta Swimming Club has geared up for it with the grand reopening of its outdoor swimming pool, in association with t2. The renovated ladies dressing room was also reopened on the day. The event was a fun affair with delicious food and a variety of cocktails on the menu along with a fashion show by club members as well as professionals. The fashion show was organised by the ladies wing of CSC, headed by First Lady Amita Dani assisted by Avanti Murarka. Participants of all ages walked the ramp and even grandparents joined in to motivate their grandchildren. DJ Girish was in charge of the console for the day and kept the guests grooving to the beats. “They say water is the most flexible thing yet no one can resist it. Yes, no one could resist the pool of Calcutta Swimming Club on March 19, at the reopening of one of the best pools in the country. We take a lot of care as far as hygiene and the maintenance is concerned for our swimming pool. We would also like to thank, Ashok Chawla, a veteran, who is much responsible for why our pool is one of the best in the country,” said Rahul Singhi, sports chairman, CSC.

“It was an afternoon very well spent with our families and friends,” said Mahesh Punjabi, bar chairman, CSC.
