Alumnorum Societas (St. Xavier’s School Old Boys’ Association), in association with The Telegraph, presented X-Connect, which marked the 44th annual reunion of ALSOC. Held on December 23 at the St. Xavier’s Collegiate School grounds, the ‘old boys’ of this prestigious Calcutta institution gathered to celebrate the bond they developed with fellow Xaverians within the four walls of the school and walked down memory lanes. Over a thousand alumni members who took part in this nostalgic homecoming occasion sang the school anthem together. Ex-students from different parts of the globe made an effort to be present. Three teachers of St. Xavier’s Collegiate School, who served the institution for over 25 years, were felicitated along with other non-faculty members. The ALSOC Complete Xaverian of the year 2023 was also announced at the event. The post-award segment of the event was all about having a fun time on the dance floor with DJ Dhruv’s mixes, making fun memories and indulging in Speciality Restaurants Ltd’s delish dinner spread.
