Dimension Four organised Potitodharini Gange, a musical ode to the Ganges, under the guidance of Nupurchanda Ghosh. The orator, Shubho Jawardar, elaborated on the theme of the event. Ghosh and 81 of her students began with “Tobo chorono nimne” by Rajanikanta Sen. The veteran actor and orator, Barun Chanda, narrated portions from Dwijendralal Roy’s dramas like Shah Jahan, Chandragupta and Durga Das. Ghosh narrated Nur Jahan’s role from Shah Jahan and sang the iconic “Amra emni eshe bheshe jai”. Similarly, Ghosh voiced Begum Gulneyar to Chanda’s Durga Das. This was followed by a performance of “Hridoy amar gopon kore” by Ghosh.

Later, Ghosh and her choir sang Dwijendralal Roy’s “Potitodharini Gange”, followed by Dilip Kumar Roy’s “Tumi antohino birato e nikheel” with its intricate notations. The conclusion came with patriotic songs like Atul Prasad Sen’s “Otho go Bharata lakhi” and a spellbinding performance of Dwijendralal Roy’s iconic “Dhana dhanye pushpe bhora”.
