“The Leadership Challenge in its 9th edition this year continues to be unique. It is not about academics or sports, but thinking, intellect and spontaneous reactions of students in real-life situations,” said Hill Top principal Puneeta B. Chouhan.

“The contest is basically about the maturity, awareness and decision-making of older school students,” she added.

Chouhan said that two students from each of the 22 schools between Class IX and XII would take part in the Leadership Challenge starting Thursday.

“From the 44 students, we will pick eight finalists known as the Super Eight after five interesting but gruelling rounds on Thursday for the grand finale on Friday. The final day will see three rounds. As in the earlier years, the rounds will judge the merit of students in spontaneous situations,” she added.

Praising the Bangalore-based Greycaps team, she said they have “done a wonderful job of evolving the format through the years to shape the leadership skills of students”.
