Jharkhand-based social technology start-up Hindustan Social has developed the country’s first of its kind industrial social network for National Productivity Council (NPC), a Government of India undertaking under ministry of industry aimed at promoting productivity culture for industries fighting recession during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The networking platform www.hindustansocial.com had a soft launch on Sunday evening. It connects instantly with the existing features we see in present social applications and comes with power of auto configuration for creating pre-decided user-roles and user–rights at user-registration level. For example, connecting patients and doctors for medical technology, restaurants and foodies for food technology. Further, the platform gets converted into a social app and can give a look and feel with custom themes and designs like Whatsapp and telegram. It cross collaborates and auto-shares user post’s and comments to all social media networks.

“It is the first of its kind industrial social network in the country. We were looking for something like this. It’s a boon for business to connect online, especially at the time of Covid-19. The speed of execution of the start-up team from Jharkhand is unbelievable,” said senior consultant at NCP India, Raj Nidhi Sharma.

“This new social networking by Hindustan Social, is revolutionary, having your own self branded social applications with custom features will act as the much required tool for building future ecosystems of India,” said another senior consultant at NPC India, Rajesh Singh.

“The social technology will not just act like a standalone business community’s social app, but it will also have inbuilt social business directory, social profiles, product and photo listings, search industries nearby along with auto-sharing your users’ posts to multiple social media platforms automatically,” said Ashish Tiwari, founder of Hindustan Social.

“It empowers innovators to create their own social networks like Facebook and Linkedin without requiring any coding skills,” added Ashish Tiwari.

The company creates small to large customised social networks, online communities and social applications for its clients based on use cases starting from occupational, hobby-based, institutional etc and cross collaborates existing social media networks to bridge the gap.

“The company was bootstrapping till now and plans to raise funds for further research and development to offer people a world class drag and drop do-it-yourself model. The impact will be seen once innovators will actualise their ideas on ground when it reaches the last mile beneficiaries,” said Ashish whose firm has been selected by Jharkhand Innovation Lab as part of Jharkhand Startup division.
