Dhanbad: Two youths of Govindpur area of Dhanbad have been arrested by Dhanbad police in connection with demanding Rs 5 lakh extortion from a construction material shop owner of the coal town in the name of UP based shooter Aman Singh gang,urrently lodged in Hotwar jail .

Police seized a mobile phone and three I pads from the arrested persons, Subhan Ansari (24) and Md Saddam Hussain (25) are both residents of Govindpur and detailed investigation revealed that duo had no relation with any gang and they also had no criminal history but they made the extortion call to trader Rajesh Agarwal of Govindpur spurred by the easy money instinct.

One of the arrested youth Subhan Ansari is an electrician and earlier also carried out electrical wiring at the house of victim trader, Rajesh Agarwal and thus was aware to a great extent about financial condition of Agarwal.

Talking to media at office today, Amar Kumar Pandey, Govindpur DSP said “the duo called on the mobile phone (7004053450) of the victim trader, Rajesh Agarwal, owner of outlet Shakti Sales Cement, Govindpur last week demanding an extortion money of Rs 5 lakh in the name of shooter Aman Singh”

BIT-Sindri student lends marketing support to start-ups

Dhanbad: A B Tech Mining Engineering final year student of BIT-Sindri, Shanu Anand who developed the first robo lawyer of Asia, Banjo last year and later also extended online legal support to men in distress and particularly those suffering false allegation of harassment has now come up with a collaboration programme for supporting the start-ups with their marketing.

The programme titled, Samvahanam Vardhan, under which Entrepreneurship Cells (e Cells)and Incubation Centres are being invited for collaboration will help sponsor the e-summits and offer free marketing service for the start-ups.

Giving details about the initiative Anand said, “Various entrepreneurship Cells (e Cells) of reputed institution including e Cell of IIT (ISM), IIT Kanpur, NIT Jamshedpur, Hansraj College, NIT Jalandhar, CET BBSR, and Chamber for advancement of Small for Advancement of Small and Medium Business are already taking the advantage of the collaboration for marketing support”

Elaborating on the further advantages of the collaboration effort Anand said, as part of the collaborative venture launched under the banner, Your First Aid, “As our startup, Your First Aid is working on the field of marketing since the last four years and have a team of marketing experts having requisites qualification like MBA and experience we are in a better position to serve the start ups with the marketing support as the marketing of services and products of the start-ups is the biggest issue”

“We have tied up with the entrepreneurship cell of various reputed institutions and recently joined hands with the entrepreneurship cell of IIT Kanpur” said Anand and added under the collaborative effort they are also offering concessions to the students start-up initiatives.
