General public can visit the gardens till March 17 via gate number 2, said officials. Every year, Raj Bhavan throws its gates open for people during the winter season for at least a fortnight, during which lakhs of people visit with friends and families. But since the outbreak of the pandemic, it remained suspended. Considering the dip in cases in recent weeks, authorities have decided for a delayed reopening of the gates for public this year for a shorter period of time.
