Clad in saffron T-shirts and kurtas bearing slogans against Hemant government, BJP MLAs resorted to protest both inside and outside the House. The saffron dress which they wore bore slogans against the government for scrapping state recruitment policy, law and order issues, joblessness among others. As the House began, Congress's Poriyahat MLA Pradeep Yadav objected to BJP MLAs present inside the House in saffron costumes demanding their ouster. Speaker later asked BJP lawmakers to maintain decorum and shed the saffron dresses which they denied forcing him to adjourn the house amid the pandemonium.
