At a pre-budget meeting last week, state finance minister Rameshwar Oraon had said the JMM-led coaliton government will take into consideration several long and short-term suggestions they had received from various quarters.

“I personally believe that major thrust needs to be provided to boost agriculture as it will also pave the way for mass livelihoods. This apart, to reach electricity to every household, focus must be given to cut down close to 42 per cent power transmission loss through different interventions. Government priority will be to balance lives and livelihood through the budget,” he said.
