The officers and staff of hot rolled coil finishing (HRVF) department of Bokaro Steel Limited have developed a park inside the steel plant using the scrap material and waste products of the department.
The park developed under the guidance of chief General manager(HRCF) of BSL, RK Srivastava will be used to spend break period or leisure time by the employees of Bokaro Steel Plant.
Notably, the park has been developed as part of 75 years of independence, Amrit Mahotsav by Bokaro Steel Limited.
Director in Charge of Bokaro Steel Limited , Amrendu Prakash who inaugurated the park last week along with Executive Director Atanu Bhowmick and others, said, "The park developed in house by the employees is an example of creative brilliance of the employees."
He further exhorted the employees of the other departments to follow the example set by the employees of Hot rolling coil finishing department.
He added that the park besides helping in improving the aesthetic beauty will also help in improving the house keeping cultures of different departments. Notably the park developed using scrap material is the first of its kind facility developed using the scrap and waste materials.
Hot rolled steel bars are used in welding and construction trades to make rail road tracks and I beams.
Hot rolling is a milling process where the steel is rolled at a temperatures above its recrystalisatio temperature at above 1000 F.
