About 800 candidates from the steel city appeared for the JEE Main conducted online for the second time by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on Monday.
Exams for B.Arch and B. Planning were held on Monday at Ion Digital Centre on NH-33. The B.Tech exam will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The tests are being conducted in two slots per day — from 9.30am to 12.30pm and from 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
The B.Arch paper was divided into three sections — mathematics, aptitude and drawing while B.Planning was divided into mathematics,
aptitude and planning-based questions.
“The paper was not that difficult. I think I will score well,” said Neha Arya, who appeared for the B.Arch exam.
The NTA has set up 567 test centres across 231 cities in India and in Bahrain, Colombo, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Muscat, Riyadh, Sharjah and Singapore.
Jharkhand has only five centres in Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Dhanbad, Hazaribagh and Bokaro.
The result will be announced on January 31.
