Prime Minister Narendra Modi had visited Pithoragarh's Parvati Kund in Uttarakhand last year in October. "My mind is also delighted by the darshan of Adi Kailash from here. From this place of spirituality and culture nestled in the lap of nature, I prayed for a happy life for all the family members of my country," he wrote in a Hindi post on X.
A year after Narendra Modi's "darshan" of Adi Kailash, a group of IAF cyclists now climbed 16,000 ft to reach the peak, which was first successfully ascended by a British-Scottish-American team on October 8, 2004.
