Days before Karnataka’s Hassan constituency went to polls, Prime minister Narendra Modi campaigned for Prajwal Revanna, the now suspended BJP-JD(S) alliance candidate and grandson of former prime minister HD Deve Gowda. But Revanna flew to Germany just a day after polling was over in Hassan before sex tapes allegedly showing him and his father HD Revanna sexually abusing and filming several women caused a furore.

H.D. Deve Gowda on Thursday issued a “stern warning” to his grandson, asking him to return to India and face probe into the sexual abuse allegations against him.
