7 persons died when an ambulance collided with a truck in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, reports ndtv.com.
Victims included six members of a Pilbhit family who were returning from Delhi after check-up, according to cops.
The fatal incident took place early morning on the Delhi-Lucknow national highway.
The ambulance hit the road divider follwoing which it collided with the truck, causing the driver's death and that of six other occupants.
Victims have been identified and their kin were informed. The bodies will be sent for post-mortem after they arrive.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has shared his condolences and ordered district officials to provide treatment to the injured.
