Smriti Irani visited her Lok Sabha constituency of Amethi on Sunday morning to be greeted by a large number of posters demanding her resignation as Union minister.
Some of the posters said: “Bar owner, dark activities. Smriti’s daughter was running a bar in Goa with an illegally acquired licence.”

The posters were put up in Amethi city and Jagdishpur town. The police were seen removing the posters from walls across Amethi city as Smriti’s convoy arrived.
The Congress has alleged that Smriti’s daughter Zoish Irani runs the Silly Souls Café & Bar in Goa with a bar licence obtained with forged papers. Smriti has denied her daughter runs any bar.
