Saket Gokhale, Trinamul Rajya Sabha member, sought to connect Bishnoi and Union home minister Amit Shah.

“Canada alleges Modi Govt working in collaboration with Lawrence Bishnoi. In Mumbai, former Minister Baba Siddique allegedly shot dead on orders of Lawrence Bishnoi. Is Bishnoi locked up in a Gujarat jail or is he under protection of Amit Shah & Ajit Doval while working for them?” Gokhale posted.

Manish Hindvi: India’s foreign policy entirely unsuccessful

Congress spokesperson Manish Hindvi said the Canada episode showed India’s foreign policy floundering under the Narendra Modi government.

“India's foreign policy has completely failed. India's relations with Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, China, and Nepal are not well. China has trespassed on our land, and you are unable to do anything about it,” Hindvi told PTI Videos. “Nepal, which used to be an ally, is currently upset and reluctant to speak to India. Your relations with the small islands from the Indian Ocean are bad as well. So, India's foreign policy, under Modi’s rule, is entirely unsuccessful.”
