Congress president Sonia Gandhi was discharged from hospital on Monday evening.
Party leaders said she was better now but had been advised rest at home.
Post-Covid complications had turned her condition serious and she had suffered nosebleed and developed a fungal infection in her chest.
Sonia, who is expected to appear before the Enforcement Directorate on June 23, may have to seek more time as exposure and strain at this stage will not be advisable for her.
The party, however, didn’t talk about it on Monday.
