Schools in several districts of Lucknow, Noida, Kanpur, Aligarh, Meerut, Agra and Hapur will be closed due to incessant rainfall in Uttar Pradesh, say media reports.
The educational institutes have been asked to share information about school closure from Monday, October 10, through WhatsApp.
As per a report by ndtv.com, local authority said in a statement that schools in Noida would remain shut on Monday.
It has been raining in the National Capital Region, non-stop since Saturday afternoon, flooding roads and uprooting trees.
