Calcutta is getting ready for a protest on Wednesday that is reminiscent of the Reclaim the Night gatherings on August 14. The West Bengal Junior Doctors' Front, which has been spearheading the medicos’ protests over the rape and murder of a postgraduate trainee doctor, has called for a peaceful protest named ‘Let there be light, Let there be Justice’ on Wednesday night.

Most placards and posters of the ‘Let there be light, Let there be Justice’ protests tonight have been timed to raise a clamour for justice the night before the hearing in the Supreme Court.
