Rajasthan chief whip complains of efforts to destabilise govt

Allegation of attempts to poach Congress MLAs as well as Independent legislators backing the government

The Rajasthan government’s chief whip on Wednesday said in a written complaint to police that attempts were being made to destabilise the Congress government in the state.

Chief whip Mahesh Joshi in the complaint to the DG, anti-corruption bureau, alleged attempts to poach Congress MLAs as well as Independent legislators backing the government.

“Like Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh, attempts are being made to destabilise the government in Rajasthan,” he said.
