Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, SAD's Sukhbir Badal and Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi are facing poll code violation, just ahead of the Punjab elections, according to ndtv.com.
A police case has been registered against Kejriwal and his AAP for a video, which according to the Election Commission, makes "frivolous allegations against other parties" thus violating the model code of conduct, adds ndtv.com.
"It is submitted that Model Code of Conduct has been enforced in the State of Punjab. In the light of MCC no party can put any objectionable videos targeting particular leader of any prevalent handles on internet," said the chief electoral officer in Punjab.
Sukhbir Badal as per a complaint by AAP, is accused of violating the model code of conduct too. Badal's video from his Facebook page allegedly intends to misguide voters after the completion of the campaigning process.
As regards Channi, he allegedly visited a temple in Manasa and it was followed by a door-to-door campaign in the area after the end of the campaigning period.
