Is poll strategist Prashant Kishor launching his own political party? After declining the Congress offer, Kishor has kept all on tenterhooks over his new move. But now it seems, he has made up his mind if his tweet is to go by.
On Monday morning, he wrote, "My quest to be a meaningful participant in democracy & help shape pro-people policy led to a 10yr rollercoaster ride! As I turn the page, time to go to the Real Masters, THE PEOPLE,to better understand the issues & the path to “जन सुराज”-Peoples Good Governance शुरुआत #बिहार से."
Needless to say, his post has raised speculations on his next course of action. Does that mean, he will relaunch his political career from Bihar where it all started off after he joined Nitish Kumar's JD (U)?
Kishor, who was expecting a critical political role in the top hierarchy of the Congress, had refused to join the party after realising that he was being assessed only for his professional utility.
“We valued his professional expertise and were willing to work with him. As far as joining the Congress is concerned, anybody can become a member. There is a process for that,” a senior leader had told The Telegraph.
Following Kishor's refusal to join Congress, TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee had lent her support to the former stating that her party would continue to work with him despite question marks being raised over his ideological commitment.
However, Kishor's tweet on Monday morning seems to lend credence to the fact that he might have decided to go all alone. Or you never know, he might as well bury the hatchet with Bihar CM and start afresh.
