Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke over the telephone with his British counterpart, Boris Johnson, on Tuesday.

Modi raised the issue of “violence and vandalism perpetrated by a large mob against the Indian High Commission in London” on India’s Independence Day.

The crowd was protesting the scrapping of the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
