Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar will visit Bengal and Odisha to meet his counterparts Mamata Banerjee and Naveen Patnaik to discuss Opposition unity with an intention to make it a pan-Indian one.
Nitish met NCP chief Sharad Pawar and CPI-ML general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya in Delhi on Wednesday to discuss how to unite against the BJP for the 2024 general elections. JDU secretary general K.C. Tyagi said that Nitish “will knock every door in his efforts for a broad-based Opposition unity”.
