Naveen Patnaik courts investors in Hyderabad

The CM apprised everyone present about the state’s flagship investment summit, the Make in Odisha Conclave 22, and invited them to the event

Chief minister Naveen Patnaik, who is on a two-day visit to Hyderabad, on Monday held a meeting with top industrialists to highlight business opportunities in Odisha.

Naveen tweeted, “Glad to meet Dr Krishna Ella, Chairman of Bharat Biotech at Odisha Investors Meet 2022 in Hyderabad, the curtain raiser event for Make in Odisha Conclave. Discussed the proposed vaccine manufacturing plant in Bhubaneswar and highlighted Odisha’s conducive environment to Invest in Odisha.”

Naveen also met Shailendra Kumar, MD, of Oracle India, Rajiv Kumar, MD of Microsoft India, N. Venkatram, MD of Deloitte India and appraised them of the incentives being offered in the Odisha IT Policy 2022 to make it a favoured destination for the industrialists.

The chief minister also met P.S. Reddy, CMD of Ctrls, and highlighted the incentives offered by the state as per the state Data Centre policy.

Before addressing the industrialists in the evening, Naveen had one-on-one G2B (Government to Business) with nearly 37 business leaders from various fields, including IT and enabled service and pharmaceutical industry.

He apprised everyone present about the state’s flagship investment summit, the Make in Odisha Conclave 22, and invited them to the event.

“The basic objective of meeting one-to-one is to understand the requirements of investors looking to invest in Odisha as well as ensure that the state provides best-in-class support and facilitation to the investors,” an official said.

Odisha had already organised roadshows and investors meet in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore and invited them to join the summit in November.
