Actor-model Malaika Arora whose romantic association with Arjun Kapoor has become a buzz in the showbiz has been injured in a car accident on Saturday afternoon but her condition is stated to be stable, reports NDTV.

The mishap occured when she was returning from a fashion event in Pune. According to reports, the actor, who has suffered an eye injury in the accident, is admitted to Apollo Hospital in Mumbai.

"She's in hospital and is stable," Amrita Arora, the actor's sister, was quoted as saying to NDTV. The report said the mishap took place on the Mumbai-Pune expressway when the actor's car was involved in a three-car pile up.

Malaika Arora shot to fame after her appearance for appearing on a number of reality shows. These shows include India's Best Dancer and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
