British rock band Coldplay on Saturday announced a second show in Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on January 26 next year citing ‘phenomenal demand’.
This will be the band’s fifth concert in India as part of their ongoing Music of the Spheres World Tour.
“SECOND 2025 AHMEDABAD DATE ANNOUNCED. The band will play a second show at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on 26 January, 2025. Tickets on sale TODAY at 1PM IST. Delivered by DHL,” the band wrote on X.
Coldplay previously announced that they will perform in Ahmedabad on January 25. They shared a poster for their upcoming show, which also builds anticipation about a mystery guest.
The upcoming concert is part of Coldplay’s ongoing Music of the Spheres World Tour. BookMyShow also confirmed ticket availability, stating they will go live at 1 pm IST on November 16.

The Music of the Spheres World Tour is Coldplay’s eighth concert tour. It seeks to promote their ninth and tenth studio albums, Music of the Spheres (2021) and Moon Music (2024), respectively. The tour began at the National Stadium of Costa Rica on March 18, 2022, and is scheduled to conclude at London's Wembley Stadium on September 8 next year.
Coldplay is set to return to India in 2025 for the first time since 2016. Besides the two shows in Ahmedabad, shows are scheduled in Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Sports Stadium on January 18, 19 and 21 next year.
