Srinagar, March 2: BSF soldier Tej Bahadur Yadav, who triggered a controversy with his revelations on the quality of food served to jawans, has defied his bosses by releasing a fresh video accusing the force of mental torture and requesting the Prime Minister to intervene.

"I want to ask the honourable Prime Minister that the video of the bad food I showed (in January) is a reality. No investigation was done and instead I was mentally tortured. I don't know why?" the video alleges.

"Honourable Prime Minister wanted that the corruption should be eradicated from the country.... Is this what I should get for exposing corruption?" Yadav says in the video, shot in a room with glossy curtains in the background. The first video was shot during a patrol on a hilly terrain.

The soldier claimed his mobile was seized on January 10 and it was being tampered with. "Please do not trust the false rumours," he says.

Some reports had suggested that many of his Facebook friends were from Pakistan, suggesting that he was being guided by people across the border.

The earlier allegations had prompted the BSF to launch an investigation and steps to crack down on "pilferage" of rations.

BSF spokesman Dharmendra Parekh said: "The preliminary investigation has established that he was not able to produce the evidence to prove his claims." Parekh rubbished the jawan's fresh claims.
