Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar is emerging as the leading IT hub of the country with IT MNC Accenture becoming the latest company to announce the setting up of its global delivery facility in Bhubaneswar.
All the major IT MNCs, including PwC, IBM, Deloitte, Happiest Minds, and TCS have their presence in the city.
The announcement came after a delegation from Accenture met chief minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday evening at Naveen Niwas.
A senior delegation led by country managing director, Accenture in India, Ajay Vij met Naveen and had an extensive discussion regarding the company’s plans for the state.
Following his discussion with the chief minister, Vij said: “We are excited to set up our presence in Bhubaneswar, a city which is home to leading educational institutions, a rapidly growing IT ecosystem and a rich talent pool. Bhubaneswar will join our large network of existing facilities to deliver transformative technology solutions for clients across the globe and expand our footprint in India.”
“This upcoming state-of-the-art facility in Bhubaneswar will expand Accenture’s global delivery network and develop and deliver transformative technology services for clients across industry sectors,” said a media release issued by the chief minister’s office (CMO).
