Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka on Thursday met with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in New Delhi.
During the meeting, Deka engaged in detailed discussions with the finance minister about enhancing Chhattisgarh's economy through domestic and foreign institutional investments across various sectors.
He proposed organizing the "Chhattisgarh Investor Summit 2025," aimed at transforming the state into a prosperous economy.
The summit's objective is to attract significant investments in diverse sectors, including large and small industries, technology, health, and education, while effectively utilizing the state's available resources. Deka stated that such investments would create employment opportunities for the youth of Chhattisgarh.
Deka informed Sitharaman about Chhattisgarh's rich natural, mineral, and forest resources, highlighting the immense development potential in the state. He stressed the importance of hosting an investor conference in Chhattisgarh and discussed various other developmental issues with the finance minister.
