External affairs minister S. Jaishankar on Friday spoke to his British counterpart Elizabeth Truss and agreed to facilitate travel between India and the UK, indicating that New Delhi is prepared to drop the quarantine requirements for British nationals travelling from the UK after London on Thursday announced willingness to recognise India’s vaccine certification.

“Good to talk to UK Foreign Secretary @trussliz. Agreed to facilitate travel between our two countries. This will help to implement the Roadmap 2030,’’ Jaishankar tweeted on Friday afternoon.

Britain had on Thursday announced that travellers from India who are fully vaccinated with any vaccine recognised by the UK regulator will not require to quarantine.
