BJP president J.P. Nadda on Monday accused Rahul Gandhi of trying to “politicise defence and foreign policy” in “one dynasty’s desperation to wash their past sins of 1962”.

The attack came in response to Rahul’s second video on the Narendra Modi government’s response to the Chinese aggression.

Nadda posted a series of tweets to attack Rahul and his family, charging them with always being soft on China.

“We saw yet another (failed) edition of ‘Project RG Relaunch’ today. @RahulGandhi Ji was, as usual, weak on facts and strong on mudslinging,” Nadda tweeted.

“Attempts to politicise defence and foreign policy matters shows on dynasty’s desperation to wash their past sins of 1962 and weaken India,” the tweet added.

Nadda then went on to level all kinds of allegations against the Nehru-Gandhi family.

“Since the 1950s, China has made strategic investments in one dynasty that has given them rich dividends,” he said. “Remember 1962 giving away of a UNSC seat, losing lot of land to China in the UPA years…” his tweet read.

Nadda said Rahul’s attempt was to destroy the “reputation of Mr Modi” and warned that “those who want to destroy him will end up only further destroying their own party.”
