HBS Placements 2023: HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, EY, Colgate-Palmolive, Dabur among top recruiters

Heritage Business School (HBS) Placements 2023 have so far seen 75% students placed in top-notch companies. This year the highest package offered is Rs. 9.2 lakhs per annum for the outgoing batch of MBA students.

The average package offered by the recruiters stands at Rs 5.4 lakhs per annum, a significant increase from last year. Like previous years, this year also, companies from various sectors like banking, financial services, FMCG, consulting, insurance (BFSI) etc. have participated in the placement season.

Key roles and profiles offered to the students of HBS MBA batch 2023 include management trainee, project management, sales trainee, financial consultant and financial analyst, among others.

Prominent recruiters for the year include Axis Bank, Bandhan Bank, ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, HDFC Life, ABP, ABFRL-Pantaloons, Asian Paints, Colgate-Palmolive, PwC, EY, Bharti Airtel, ICICI Securities, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, American Express, Century Ply, UltraTech Cement, SBI Life, Kotak Life, ITC, Godrej & Boyce, Wipro, Dabur, Vivo Mobiles, among several others.

While speaking about the placements, Heritage Business School, Director, Prof. K.K. Chaudhuri said, “The placement process of the batch of 2023 is indicative of newer ways that our B-school is exploring to balance aspirations of its students and the Institute's mission.”

Mr. Kaushik Bhattacharya, the placement head, said, “Our students join top companies that give them a career. We saw a growing diversity of representation from various industries which hired our students. We found new interest from the fields of consulting, consumer durables, even as our returning recruiters from FMCG, Banking and also from various other segments continue to repose their faith on our students,”

Heritage Business School currently offers a two-year full Time MBA programme, approved by AICTE and affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal. Specializations in Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management, MIS, and Business Analytics are offered to the students. Heritage Business School is currently ranked as the No. 1 Private B-school in West Bengal by Education World and No. 32 in India for the year 2022. The Institute also received the ASSOCHAM Award from the ASSOCHAM National Council for Enabling Excellence in Preferred Environment for Placements-East for the year 2022.
