AAP's Delhi State Convenor and Delhi's Cabinet Minister, Gopal Rai held a press conference at the party headquarters on Wednesday, where he stated that the BJP sent a notice through the Enforcement Directorate (ED) to AAP's National Convenor and Delhi's CM, Arvind Kejriwal, due to political rivalry. Revealing this, AAP's Delhi State Convenor Gopal Rai, mentioned that Arvind Kejriwal had sought answers to some questions from the ED regarding the notice. Legally, the response should have been provided by the ED, but it was BJP's spokesperson who responded.

"While the BJP claims that investigative agencies are independent and have nothing to do with the party, if these agencies are indeed independent, then why is the BJP responding? It has become difficult to differentiate whether the ED-CBI is BJP or BJP is ED-CBI," Gopal Rai said. He stated that it's not clear in the notice whether the ED is summoning Kejriwal as a suspect, witness, CM, or AAP National Convenor.

A senior BJP leader mentioned on Wednesday that the ED is independent, and these agencies are free of any influence from the BJP. "If these agencies are truly independent, then they should respond on their own. It's confusing that when questions are raised about the ED notices, BJP's spokespersons are coming forward to answer. The BJP decides to whom they issue these notices. Since these agencies are supposed to be independent, they should do their work and let the BJP deal with the notices that belong to them. The reason this is painful for them is because the notice is linked to the BJP. The BJP dictates and sends these notices. When questions are raised about them, the ED should not issue misleading statements against the BJP's interest; the BJP's spokespersons respond instead," Rai said.

The AAP's Delhi state convenor continued, "Until yesterday, the BJP leaders were claiming that this is a legal process. If the agencies are doing their work, why so much outcry? There is no political conspiracy involved. I listened to the BJP's spokesperson during the press conference today. They want to determine which party in this country will form alliances with others. They are concerned that today, parties are forming alliances with each other, which previously used to question each other. It is becoming clear that the BJP has orchestrated a political conspiracy with the intent to arrest Kejriwal. This became evident when BJP MP Manoj Tiwari announced publicly a day before the notice came that no one could stop Kejriwal from getting arrested. The ED alleges that Kejriwal is evading arrest. Before this, the CBI had summoned him for questioning, and Kejriwal had answered all their questions. This is not the agency's problem; it's the BJP's conspiracy. They intend to prevent him from going anywhere in the upcoming elections. You plot conspiracies and ask all people to follow the law and adhere to it. So that no one can question you? If this notice was from the ED, then the response should come from the ED, not from the BJP. Today, the entire country wants to know if a political conspiracy is underway in Delhi to finish off the AAP, and the BJP is openly misusing government agencies for that purpose."

Rai also mentioned about the raid that took place at the residence of AAP minister Raaj Kumar Anand. "No notice, no case, suddenly a raid took place. What are you trying to do? Are you afraid that if all Opposition leaders come together and enter the field, the BJP cannot win the upcoming Lok Sabha elections at any cost? Because of that, you are blatantly disregarding all laws and regulations. You are trying to murder democracy by making puppets out of the country's agencies. This won't work in the country. The country tolerates only to a certain extent, but if it goes too far, it also responds. The people of this country have given you a chance to run this country by electing you to the government. Do something for the people of the country. If you dream of winning elections by misusing agencies, it has never happened in India's history and will not happen in the future. Stop trying to become the ED-CBI yourself. Stop deciding who will form alliances with whom because in this country, every party has the right to make decisions for itself," he said.

The AAP Delhi State Convenor further added, "Today, you have ruined the entire country by imposing inflation. That's why questions are being raised on you. After Manish Sisodia's bail was canceled on October 30, the BJP started praising the Supreme Court. For three consecutive months, there were hearings in the Supreme Court where the Supreme Court repeatedly asked the ED, 'Did Manish Sisodia receive money? Do you have any evidence?' These agencies had no answers. They were just beating around the bush. At that time, these people did not mention the Supreme Court's name. Whatever actions took place inside the Supreme Court, everyone saw what the Supreme Court was saying and what response the agencies were giving. The agencies had no response. Regarding the bail cancellation that occurred in the Supreme Court, there is no clarity between these two parties. My message to BJP members is that the people of the country gave you a chance to work for 10 years. Have confidence in your work. Keep the courage to fight elections among the people based on your work. The people will decide who is right and who is wrong. The way you are conspiring to destroy the entire country has been tried before. The results didn't favor the rulers. So, let democracy and the constitution survive. Don't end it for personal interests."
