Toppo expressed her intention to plant the mango sapling in her home’s courtyard as a tribute to her mother-in-law. She also shared her appreciation for the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, which provides her with monthly financial assistance of Rs 1,000. She recently used part of this amount to buy notebooks, a school bag, and other study materials for her son Ishant Toppo, a sixth-grade student.

Toppo joyfully stated, “This is the first time I have been able to buy school supplies for my child with my own money, thanks to the scheme. I use the funds from Mahtari Vandan Yojana for daily needs and save some for emergencies.”
