Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati tour set to light up India this October; pre-sales tickets flying off the shelves

Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-Luminati India tour is officially happening, and his fans are buzzing with excitement. The global music icon will begin the India leg of his tour on October 26 in Delhi, bringing his high-energy performances to ten cities across the country. With stops in Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Pune, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Indore, Chandigarh, and Guwahati, the tour promises to be one of the biggest musical events in recent memory. Sharing the announcement on Instagram, Diljit wrote, “DIL-LUMINATI INDIA TOUR Year 24 … Find Your Nearest City In The List Bro … AA GEYA DOSANJHANWALA.”

The cheapest ticket for the concert was priced at 1499 when the ticket windows opened at 12pm. These were for the Silver (seated) area. An early bird discount also meant Gold (standing) area tickets selling for 3999. However, these were sold out within minutes of the portal's opening. At 12.10pm, the cheapest ticket price rose to 1999 for the same Silver (Seating) area. Similarly, the Gold area tickets were now selling for 4999 (Phase 1), and even later (Phase 2), at 5999. Other price categories are fan pit at 9999 (Phase 1) and fan pit at 12999 (Phase 2). At 12.20pm, all categories were sold out except silver, currently priced at 2499.

It’s clear that Diljit’s fans have been eagerly awaiting this moment, especially considering that many cities will be seeing him perform live for the first time in years. Even Bollywood celebrities couldn’t contain their excitement, with Neha Dhupia commenting, “Insanity!!!! @angadbedi lezzzzggoooo @diljitdosanjh.”

Diljit’s Dil-Luminati tour is already a massive success globally. Having performed in the US, Canada, and Europe, his concerts have drawn in thousands of fans. In fact, during one of his sold-out shows at the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau personally met with the star, acknowledging the cultural significance of the event. The singer shared a video of the moment on Instagram, where he and his crew cheered, “Punjabi aa gye oye,” before playfully chanting “Trudeau” alongside an excited audience.

The India leg of the tour promises to be just as spectacular, with fans ready to experience Diljit’s unique mix of bhangra beats and Punjabi lyrics live. His energetic performances, paired with his infectious personality, have earned him a place in the hearts of millions around the world.

For Indian fans, this tour marks a long-awaited return after a five-year gap.

With pre-sale tickets selling out in mere minutes, the general sale on September 12 is expected to see a similar frenzy. The tour will begin in Delhi on October 26 and conclude in Guwahati on December 29, giving fans across the country the chance to be part of what promises to be an unforgettable musical journey.
