A 40 year old woman from Delhi was allegedly kidnapped in Ghaziabad, gang-raped and tortured for two days by five men, police official said on Wednesday, reports NDTV.

Four out of the five men have been arrested by the police. All five were known to the victim.

Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal tweeted on the incident saying that the woman is "fighting for life in the hospital".

The woman was returning to Delhi from Ghaziabad, after attending a birthday party and was dropped off at the bus stop by her brother. She was asducted bfrom the bus stop by five men in a car. They took her to an undisclosed location and alleged raped her, reports NDTV.

"It is being said that they (victim and accused) have a property dispute and the matter is sub-judice. We're taking all necessary action," Nipun Agarwal, superintendent of police Ghaziabad, says NDTV quoting agency.

DCW chief also said that they have issued notice to the Ghaziabad senior superintendent of police asking for details of the accused.
