A youth who was among five allegedly beaten up by Delhi police during the violence in Jaffrabad in northeast Delhi died on Friday, a police source said.

“One of them, Faizan, 23, succumbed to his injuries,” said the source. In a video clip, uniformed personnel in riot gear were seen thrashing the five men lying injured near a road. The clip shows a youth being forced to sing the national anthem and a cop taunting them by saying: “You want azadi, take azadi.”
