Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched his all new WhatsApp channel on Wednesday to connect directly with citizens. The citizens of Delhi can now directly reach the CM through his WhatsApp channel.

The people of Delhi will now be able get updates on the achievements of the Delhi government, new programs, initiatives, and an exclusive peak into the behind-the-scenes action of the Delhi government.

Within just a few hours of starting his WhatsApp channel, CM Arvind Kejriwal gets 23,000 plus followers.

In his first message on the WhatsApp channel, Chief Minister Shri Arvind Kejriwal extended his warm greetings, saying,

"Namaste!

Delighted to connect with you on WhatsApp Channel.

Stay connected to receive the latest information on achievements of Delhi government, new programs and initiatives and all the behind-the-scenes action as we work towards making Delhi a national capital that all Indians can be proud of! *

Furthermore, CM Arvind Kejriwal shared a heartwarming update about the Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojna, where 780 senior citizens were sent on a pilgrimage trip to Rameswaram. He also shared pictures from the time he met the senior citizens, on the channel.

Here’s what he said:

“This week, I am very pleased to share that we sent a group of 780 Senior Citizens for a pilgrimage trip to Rameswaram under the Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojna. I am blessed to receive their love. Sharing some moments of warmth with you through these photos.”

This move reinforces the commitment of the Delhi government to foster a more personal connection with the people of Delhi.
