The next round of the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate (CUET-UG), which was hit by technical glitches and delays this year affecting admissions, will be held in the last week of May 2023.

The National Testing Agency (NTA), the organisation that conducts the exam, has issued the examination calendar for 2023-24.

The CUET-UG will be held from May 21 to 31, 2023. In case of glitches, alternative dates would be given between June 1 and 7. The Joint Entrance Examination-Main, the national test for admission to BTech courses, will be held in two sessions.

The January session will be held from 24 to 31, except 26. The first three days of February will be reserved dates in case of glitches. The second session of JEE-Main will be held from April 6 to 12, except April 7 and 9. April 13 and 15 will be reserve dates. The medical National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) will be held on May 7.

The CUET was introduced this year as the single examination for admission to undergraduate courses in all central universities. The University Grants Commission had announced that the exam would be held in the first and second weeks of July. However, the exams started on July15 and were blighted by serial glitches. The exams ended on August 30 and the results were declared in September-end.
