Union petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Saturday donated plasma for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.

Only people who have been cured of the disease are eligible to donate plasma.

Pradhan on Saturday visited the SCB Medical College, Cuttack and donated plasma. “If my plasma can help anyone, I will feel happy,” he said.

Pradhan also appealed to the people cured of Covid-19 to come forward to donate plasma. Plasma therapy is being widely used for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.
