The Congress, which is part of the ruling alliance government in Jharkhand (along with JMM and RJD), has decided to reach out to people by addressing their grievances.
Congress state chief Rajesh Thakur after a meeting with senior party leaders, including all the four cabinet ministers hailing from the party (Alamgir Alam, Rameshwar Oraon, Banna Gupta and Badal Patralekh), announced that each of the cabinet ministers will have to organise public grievance redressal meeting each Monday at the party’s headquarters in Ranchi.
“In this way all through the month (every Monday) we will be listening to public grievances at our party state headquarters chaired by different cabinet ministers. The ministers will also be required to make follow-ups for each of the grievances registered and see that the problems aired during the meeting are sorted out and grievances are addressed,” said Congress state spokesperson Rajesh Sinha.
