“The sky should start clearing from Sunday second half. The sun is expected to come out on Monday,” G.K. Das, director, India Meteorological Department, Calcutta, said. “Some remnants of the system will remain for a short time. Winds from north India are weak and they would keep the minimum temperature down till Tuesday. The morning temperature is likely to remain under 20 degrees.”

Doctors are not sure how the coronavirus would react to the change in temperature after the sun shines brightly.

“It is not yet known if weather and temperature impact the spread of COVID-19…. At this time it is not known whether the spread of COVID-19 will decrease when weather becomes warmer,” according to the website of US-based Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Atlanta. “There is much more to learn about the transmissibility, severity, and other features associated with COVID-19 and investigations are ongoing.”
